AI is fundamentally transforming scientific research, accelerating everything from hypothesis generation to experimentation and discovery. But as scientific output scales, our ability to evaluate, validate, and distinguish meaningful discoveries from noise must keep pace.
We believe the next big challenge isn't just accelerating science with AI, but rethinking how science itself is organised, evaluated, and rewarded.
That's why we're proud to announce that Stockholm AI is sponsoring the AI for Meta-Science workshop at NeurIPS 2026 in Paris!
To celebrate, we are once again partnering with Sweden AI Factory for a 7-day hackathon tackling challenges in AI for Meta-Science.
The winning team will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to NeurIPS in Paris (9–13 December), along with a coveted poster slot as well as a dedicated oral presentation at the AI for Meta-Science workshop! The hackathon and the winning prize are fully sponsored by the Sweden AI Factory.
The hackathon kicks off with a two-hour event at RISE KTH on Tuesday, 10 November at 17:30, where we'll introduce the challenges and share more details. Food and drinks will be provided!
