Got some vibe coding experience, but few chances to put it to work?

AI, supercomputers and LLMs are everywhere, yet they’re rarely explained in a way that makes sense to everyone. Let’s build something that does.

Join us for an evening of vibe coding! In teams, you’ll create something that makes a tricky tech idea easy to understand: a small game, a visualisation, a simple web page, or any other working demo your team comes up with.

Who is this for? You don’t need to be a coding pro. Ideally, you’ve tried vibe coding or used the command line before, but if you’ve only dabbled, that’s fine too.

💡 Vibe coding: you describe what you want in plain language, and an AI tool writes the code. You test it, ask for changes, and repeat until it works.

💡 Command line: a text-based way of using your computer, typing short commands instead of clicking menus. You’ll use it to run your project and connect to the AI tools.

How it worksWhen you sign up, we’ll ask a few quick questions so we can form balanced teams. Before the event, you’ll get a short guide and access to the tools. On the night, we kick off with a short intro to LLMs and the challenge, then you’ll build your project with your team with example ideas and mentors to help. We will end the evening with a three-minute demo of each project, and the judges will award a prize to the best idea!
